Question by : Does the socialist left deciding who secceedes and who doesn’t lead to us to resent each and every other?
“Isn’t it the federal government a lot more than anything else that divides us along race, class, religion, and gender lines. The federal government, by means of its taxes, restrictive regulations, corporate subsidies, racial set-asides, and welfare programs, plays far too big a function in figuring out who succeeds and who fails in our society. This government “benevolence” crowds out genuine goodwill amongst males by institutionalizing group thinking, thus generating each group suspicious that other people are getting more of the government loot. Americans know that variables other than merit in the totally free market often play a component in the good results of some, and this leads to resentment and hostility amongst us.” Ron Paul

No, and quoting some segregationist doesn’t do something for your credibility.

We’re not the ones treating Bonnie flags like a sticky, dog-eared pinup torn from an issue of ‘Hustler.’
