The Financial Freedom Foundation (F3) is a non-profit organization that teaches people how to create more passive income than their living expenses, so that they can quit living for a job and start dedicating their time and talents to giving back.
Personal financial independence is necessary in order to free up your time. However, financial independence is not the end goal, but rather an initial step, just the beginning step.
We’ll show you how to create $10k/month in passive income, so that you can cover your living expenses and quit your job, and then another $20k/month+ on top of that, so that you can have funds for helping other people. We have the tools to accomplish this, and we’ll show you exactly how to implement them. Money is very scalable, so you can actually get up into the millions, which will happen as your vision for what you want to accomplish increases.
Instead of trying to get wealthy people to become generous, we are teaching generous people how to create and control wealth, so that they can help others.
As to becoming a member in our Mastermind Group, we do not have any preferences as to age, gender, race, religion, level of education, or nationality … however, we are seeking people who:

We believe that it is the personal responsibility of private citizens to care for the poor, the hungry, the homeless, the sick, and the elderly. We invite people to take more initiative in doing so, using their private sector skill sets to do this more effectively. We believe that the solutions to global poverty, world hunger, homelessness, and almost all our social, physical, mental, and economic problems rest in the hearts and minds of private individuals acting generously.

Query by MotherKittyKat: What would have been a far better use, for all of the “donations” given to Obama’s Inauguration?
I mean, couldn’t Obama and CO….asked for some of that money, like most of it, be given to charities rather? Or to feed the poor, or to pay for utilities for people freezing their kabooties off for the duration of the coldest winter in ten years?
I hold hearing that ‘his money was donated’ Properly, that becoming the case, he has been harping on how messed up our economic climate is …couldn’t he have ‘shared the wealth’ by giving some of HIS funds to the much less fortunate?

Answer by K2010
The ancient Greeks had created a system of charity to help the working poor because these people were essential to the economic vitality of the community. Yet, the destitute and beggars were abhorred. Wealth was a virtue and so the virtuous were charitable toward the impoverished. Poverty implied no status
just Google
charity in ancient Greece

The ancient Greek word for culture as education was paideia. Paideia and “philanthropía were both later translated by the Romans into Latin by one word—significantly, humanitas.

Question by vrlshah: First time this year we filing itemized. Can I count all my previous year’s donations as “carryover” this year
While going by means of TaxCut wizard I saw an option known as “Carryover Donation” from last 5 years. I donated in the course of final five years to charity, but was not in a position to show it on tax return because I was performing 1040EZ regular deduction until this year.(simply because I purchased a new property)
Finest answer:

No. You can only claim the contributions you paid in the present year. The carryover contributions are solely for excess contributions that you made and claimed for tax purposes in the previous years, but simply because of AGI limitations, they had been not deductible in that year.

Question by Blunt: Charity “gifts” Sick of it?
I have a cousin with whom we exchange gifts on Christmas. Each and every year we buy gifts for her and her husband and she keeps on giving us some printed piece of paper saying that a “donation” has been offered to X charity…WTF! How precisely a tax deduction for her is a “gift” for me? I dont care about the charities of HER selection, is not like they are close to my heart.
Ought to I stop “exchanging” gift with her as we are not really exchanging because each of them, get presents and a tax deduction and we get absolutely nothing?
Should not charity donation be accomplished privately and out of their personal pockets? I feel this false philanthropy is phony and rude…your thoughts?

Why not just recommend you two no longer exchange gifts at Christmas but rather just devote time together over the holidays. By the way if a charitable donation is made in your name then it really should be you getting the tax receipt not your cousin.

Question by blndelady4u: Can an employer deduct cash per paycheck for rent but call it charity?
I have a friend that rents a room from his employer. He deducts $ 300 per paycheck for rent. On the paystub, nonetheless, it says “Charity Donation”. My buddy says that the boss told him that it can be deducted as rent. I’m more than skeptical (I called it stealing), but not certain how to assist him. I reside in Southern California.

Question by sayswho?: itemizing for tax deductible donations – eligible?
i read that in order to get the tax benefit of a non-profit charity donation,
“You need to be able to itemize. Giving to charity is a great tax organizing technique, but it only functions for people who are eligible to itemize their deductions.”
who are these people who are eligible to itemize? what would trigger 1 to not be able to and thus not get the benefit of this?
thanks in advance!
Greatest answer:
Answer by Steve D
Key deductions for folks who itemize incorporate interest on a mortgage, property taxes (and state/nearby revenue taxes), particular company deductions (i.e., work clothes, travel expenditures, etc.). If your deduction do not equal or exceed the normal deduction, there is no sense itemizing.
