Query by JFlo19: How do I request charitable donations rather of gifts for my 4-yr-old’s birthday?
She isn’t going to need far more toys, and my expertise with pals of mine who’ve requested that men and women NOT deliver presents has been overlooked by properly-that means guests.
We have made a decision that as an alternative of declaring “no presents” to politely say “if presents, make sure you give a donation to XX, a local children’s cancer charity.” How do I compose this politely on the invitations with out it coming across like an expectation?

it’s a birthaday party the only bit of it young children undestand is presents, why get that away from them. What I typically do is thoroughly clean out the toys that are not currently being played with and donate them to my daycare center thery constantly require up to date toys.
