Personally, I don’t find any of it particularly appealing.

You should consider what you know about Puritanism from those sources, and list out, say, three or five things you like and three or five you don’t like, and see what they all have in common. Then your thesis statement could be something like “Although Puritanism had some appealing points such as [things you liked], it also exhibited several very constraining points such as [things you disliked].”
Also, you should probably run a spell check on your paper before handing it in.
