Query by : Jehovah’s Witnesses, Exactly where does This fit into your “Foundations”?
Deut 18- 21, 23 But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in my name that I have not commanded him to speak, or[i] who speaks in the name of other gods, that exact same prophet shall die.’ 21And if you say in your heart, ‘How may we know the word that the LORD has not spoken?’— 22(BM) when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the word does not come to pass or come accurate, that is a word that the LORD has not spoken(BN) the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need to have not be afraid of him.

Do you recognize the magnitude of these scriptures, contemplating that you have applied all other OT scriptures to globe events, do you see any association with yourselves as the subject matter? If not, why?

If your foundations had been in the Bedrock, of Jesus Christ, would not all of your predictions and “prophesies” have come to pass?

Where do these scriptures fit into your “Foundations” ?
This is a perfectly reputable and pertinent query posed to all Jehovah’s Witnesses.

You all told me you will answer questions like this, as it is a challenge to you from Holy Spirit to answer, and make a reply to who you think is “taunting” you.

I am not taunting, I am asking for a Biblical response that will exonerate your Watchtower Bible and Tract Society.
Your refusal to answer this question demonstrates your fear of the Watchtower Organization, and the punishment the demons will met out to you if you try to answer. You are a extremely sad group, quite positive of yourselves until “mother” is getting exposed for the lady of the night that she truly is.

You have blasted all other religious groups to sanctify and hold yourselves up to the extremely heavens.
You can not grapple with this question, for it’s truth is also excellent a burden to carry for you, the proof of your mother’s illegitimacy.

If you appear at Isa 47 and then Rev 18, you will see the harlot, who claims, I AM AND NO 1 ELSE.
I sit a queen and shall see no sorrow. But god stated your judgment will come in 1 day. for you lifted yourself up as the only 1.

Now we have numerous false religions, which claim to be the only one particular. this clearly identifies those with this attitude as being the sinful Babylon.
No matter what they contact themselves in this globe, they are identified by God as sinful Babylon.

This takes them appropriate back to their father Lucifer/satan, in Eze 28, when he claimed I am and none beside me.

See this is the starting of the false religion, when Adam, God’s son, declared himself to be god and the only one.

Every single church or person who claims I am the only one particular, I am and none beside me, are identifying themselves with this Satanic spirit of very first-man Adam.

So when they say, we are the only correct ones, they are proving themselves to be of the Satan spirit. Lifting themselves up above God and his Holy Ghost filled people.

Now, I have heard that the WT society will not permit their members to access any material additional back than 1930, because they created so several adjustments from the ERRORS they had produced up to then, starting sometimes in the 1800s.
If this be accurate that they had to Modify their doctrine, then it proves they were Wrong.
So according to your scripture it proves they are false.
No accurate prophet has to ever adjust what they stated, for God does not make blunders.

Edit: I wish to ask them and you a query. perhaps will put this on as a question later. not tonight:
They claim the 144,000 (must not be written this way not a number but I am tired)…is from the JW org. proper? They had been JW when on earth? or were they ever on earth?

When did they reside? If they are JW, then how is it that the word says they are all from the 12 tribes of Israel? Are these ‘Israelites’ JW? And all virgins? never married? Do they/you, have these answers?
How is it they claim these were JW, when Scripture says they are all Israelites?

What do you think? Answer below!

    Greetings,

This question has been answered by Witnesses many, many times and its accusations disproved repeatedly! Your refusal to accept the proven facts is just a continuation of your usual methods.

The accusation that Jehovah’s Witnesses have claimed to be inspired prophets or have tried to predict the future is absolutely false and a misrepresentation. Since your question is based on a false assumption it is logically invalid.

First, it is an irrefutable fact that the Witnesses’ very doctrine has ALWAYS been that the gifts of inspired prophesying and direct communication from God ceased after the Apostles died. This is a belief that has NEVER changed from their modern day inception as Bible Students to the present day.

    Notice this documented evidence:

“It is not our intention to enter upon the role of prophet to any degree, but merely to give below what seems to us rather likely to be the trend of events—giving also the reasons for our expectations.” WT Mar. 1904.

“We are not prophesying; we are merely giving our surmises,…We do not even aver that there is no mistake in our interpretation of prophesy and our calculations of chronology. We have merely laid these before you, leaving it for each to exercise his own faith or doubt in respect to them.” –WT Jan.1,1908

This sentence appeared in EVERY issue of the Watchtower up to the mid- 70′s: “No, The Watchtower is no inspired prophet, but it follows and explains a Book of prophecy…”

There are scores of similar WT quotes that go back to the 1800′s.

Therefore, any accusation that Witnesses have made “false prophecies” can only be viewed as a misrepresentation of the facts.

Deut. 18 does not apply to Jehovah’s Witnesses since they NEVER engaged in prophesying. So they cannot be “false prophets.” They did not predict the future but only tried to interpret when the prophecies found in the Bible would find fulfillment. A false prophecy would not be just an interpretation of what the Bible said or an understanding of the time when a Bible prophecy would find fulfillment. It would have to purport to be a completely new prophecy, revelation or communication directly from God.

This is the definition of a false prophet found in De.13:1; 18:14,20ff and Ezek.13:6. The meaning of “speaking in God’s Name” wasn’t just that they used the Divine name; even if false prophets didn’t use God’s name they were still false prophets. Rather, the meaning was that those prophets were claiming to speak words directly from God. They were not preaching what God already had written nor interpreting a previous prophecy. They were “divining” original ideas.

Next, a false prophet would not present his teaching as something which was fallible or subject to change. “Speaking in God’s Name” would demand a claim of infallibility. Such a prophet would never deny receiving direct communication from God or say that his “predictions” might be wrong. He would never say things like: “I’m willing to change this application if…” or present his words as a “current understanding of God’s word.”

Even more important, a “false prophet” would NEVER teach that God had ceased to speak directly with humans or that miraculous foreknowledge had ceased. He would NEVER deny having the ability to foretell the future.

In fact, the words used in almost every occurrence of where the Watchtower pointed to a certain date refute any accusations that the Witnesses were giving an inspired prophecy. Words like: “as nearly as we are able to reckon…”, “As far as we could see,” “Based upon the promises set forth in the divine word, we…”, “An evaluation based on what the Scripture records show”, and “our interpretation….” Such qualifying statements are made regarding every date the early Bible Students ever pointed to.

Jesus didn’t say you would identify the true religion because they never misunderstood prophesy. He said that you would discern the true Christian Organization “by their fruits,” or the results of their Biblical teaching (Mt.7:16,20-23). Now, who has the historical record of bloodthirsty wars, immorality, sectarian violence and factional splits? (2Tim3:5; Gal.5:19-23)

False religion is a false prophet not because it incorrectly interprets the Bible prophecies, but because their interpretations are totally and willfully contrary to what the Scriptures teach.

The fact that we can answer any question regarding our beliefs is proven repeatedly even in this forum. And this fact proves that your question here is misleading and its accusations are false

While EVERY one of your questions have been answered, your usual method is to foist *your* prejudicial claims on gullible individuals and demand that others accept *your* twisted insinuations of what Witnesses believe and do. I have not seen a single question you’ve asked on this forum which is not full of the most absurd falsehoods.

    Yours,

    BAR-ANERGES

    Hello

Your question has already been answered – Bar has provided the evidence.

I’m not afraid of answering any question you might like to ask – and neither is any other legitimate Jehovah’s Witness on this website. Maybe the fact that others have passed this question by is because you have a reputation for posting lies and insults about us? (links available on reqeust.) Maybe they consider it a waste of time to talk to you?

    To answer your question – Jehovah’s Witnesses have NEVER claImed to be prophets. I will repost the quotes provided by Bar in case you missed it;

Therefore your cited scripture does not apply to Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Just to let you know, I nor any other Witness has a “fear” of our Watchtower Organization – and I won’t address your additional insults about the “demons,” our “mother” or the “lady of the night.” Those are YOUR names, not ours.
