Question by : What is the meaning behind the dreaded “pat in the back” that ladies give?
Most females, when they hug someone (even friends and loved ones members sometimes) give the “pat in the back” is that some type of of signal that you dont want to hug us?
Some men do it as well, I have by no means noticed a man do that other than on television, most males usually hug and squeeze, they attempt to be physically closer to the lady

yep. Especially following a date. Thats a clear cut sign she wants nothing to do with you.

That is the indication that the hug is over.Men do it too.
