The Financial Freedom Foundation (F3) is a non-profit organization that teaches people how to create more passive income than their living expenses, so that they can quit living for a job and start dedicating their time and talents to giving back.
Personal financial independence is necessary in order to free up your time. However, financial independence is not the end goal, but rather an initial step, just the beginning step.
We’ll show you how to create $10k/month in passive income, so that you can cover your living expenses and quit your job, and then another $20k/month+ on top of that, so that you can have funds for helping other people. We have the tools to accomplish this, and we’ll show you exactly how to implement them. Money is very scalable, so you can actually get up into the millions, which will happen as your vision for what you want to accomplish increases.
Instead of trying to get wealthy people to become generous, we are teaching generous people how to create and control wealth, so that they can help others.
As to becoming a member in our Mastermind Group, we do not have any preferences as to age, gender, race, religion, level of education, or nationality … however, we are seeking people who:

We believe that it is the personal responsibility of private citizens to care for the poor, the hungry, the homeless, the sick, and the elderly. We invite people to take more initiative in doing so, using their private sector skill sets to do this more effectively. We believe that the solutions to global poverty, world hunger, homelessness, and almost all our social, physical, mental, and economic problems rest in the hearts and minds of private individuals acting generously.

Question by Disco Stu, Swinger God: How is it that well-off individuals are constantly compelled to “give a thing back”?
I just uncover the wording somewhat offensive. Last I checked my wife and I “donated” $ 67,000 last year in one form or one more to a government by way of taxation.
Doesn’t the term “give some thing back” imply that I have somehow robbed someone else? Or that any person has given something to me?
I know I must pay really high taxes because I had the nerve to get an education and a very good job. By why following undertaking so am I Still demonized for it?
And yes – a wonderful numerous men and women I have known uncover it offensive that I have a good residence, good vehicle, retirement savings, and so on. although the poor masses have “nothing”. Properly, except perhaps a plasma television (which I don’t have, btw).
I don’t thoughts men and women asking for a donation. I take issue with the words “give a thing back” which to me implies that I have somehow turn into properly-off by way of some sort of underhanded means.
I benefitted from society’s framework, yes, but nobody did anything for me.

Possibly it’s since not all wealthy individuals earned their dollars by working harder than everyone else. Most of them, in reality, inherited it. The richer you are, in reality, the more likely it is that you inherited your dollars. Yet those individuals are the ones who pay the lowest taxes since they “earned” their revenue by way of long-term capital gains and dividends, each taxed at low rates.
Must individuals who merely inherited their cash and never ever work a day in their lives deserve to pay lower taxes?

I agree. I think a lot of it comes from Republicans who don’t want government programs and insist charities cover all problems, which means individuals are supposed to give their hard earned money to handle community problems, on top of taxes, instead of the government properly and with a budget using taxesto handle the issues. They just push their obligations onto charities, after taking our taxes, to boot.

I’m with you.

But isn’t this what the right wing preaches? That if we cut taxes for folks like you, then you will somehow be compelled to “give something back”, but in private?
So you are admitting that you wouldn’t feel the need to give something back in any way, shape or form? I think most people wouldn’t, so I’m not sure why they keep insisting that you will.
****
Giving something back doesn’t imply you robbed someone so much as others have done something for you. It especially implies that a community at large has done something for you implicitly.

It’s a guilt tactic.

Means you have greatly benefitted from living in this society. This society has provided for you the frame work upon which your success has been built. Now you are giving back.
This society provided for you safety, roads, education and a number of things.
In contrast please visit a place with too little government. So little indeed they don’t even have a presence in certain parts of the country like say Afghanistan or Pakistan or Somalia. And think if your success would have been just as likely there than here.

So you got nothing in return for those “donations”? Of course you did, you just have this “poor me” syndrome going on.
Obama has asked ALL Americans to give back, to donate their time and energy to making America a better place to live, so stop feeling so put upon and get out there and do your part as an American, not as an individual. It’s not all about you.

Sunshine, what makes you think for a second that our government knows how to handle our money better than we do?

How is donating to charity offensive to you ?….
This question is absurd…
Do you have problems with your conscience or something ?…what compelled you to come on yahoo and look for validation with this question ?
I dont’ care if you have money or not……
I’m not rich, but I still try to “give back” when I can.

It’s projection.
Very few “well-off” liberals got that way by honest means so their “default” assumption about wealth is that it’s proof you’re just as bad a person as they know themselves to be.

Not all rich people feel compelled to give anything back. Sam Walton’s kids are 4 of the richest people on earth and not one of them gives anything to charity. You don’t have to give anything to charity. You do have to pay taxes though. There are plenty of tax shelters and other loophole that well to do people have available to them to pay a much lower percentage of taxes then the middle class. Warren Buffet has commented publicly how ridiculous it is that he pays a lower percent in taxes then his Secretary does. I have an education and make decent money (approx. $ 200k p/y). I don’t mind paying my fair share and I am willing to pay a little more to help others. It’s called being a decent human being, not a money grubbing @$ $ Hat.

1) Well off people are not ‘compelled’ to do anything
2) ‘giving something back’ is considered the polite thing to do after you’ve taken something away. Yes, it implies you have somehow robbed someone else because you have robbed someone else. Don’t take it too personally, I also call everything I get, something I ‘rob’ from others. This is a system of legalized robbery. We artificially disable the masses, prohibit them from defending themselves then we all just go nuts preying on their misfortunes and shaking them down for treasures and riches. You don’t have to blame yourself. We’re all stuck with it. We’re not necessarily bad people – We’re just people stuck in a bad system. The part I have a hard time accepting is when people that profit from this sadistic bloodbath complain about the expenses that keep it operating smoothly and try to convince me that all their success and accomplishments are totally independent without any reliance on any society, government or humanity. You’re benefitting disproportionately from concentrated value that comes from the deprivation of hundreds of others, and you’re seriously complaining to me that the mob beating down the peasants and making them vulnerable for you wants a cut?
WOW! No wonder you make so much more money than me!
