I have a wonderful notion that national charities could use to raise funds although at the exact same time helping to protect the environment. My concern is that if I approach them with the concept that they will use it and I will acquire no compensation for creating it. Can someone recommend what steps I could take to insure that this doesn’t occur? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated specifically from any person who has experienced a comparable situation.

I mean, there is a Huge marketplace for non-traceable, prepaid phones that anybody can go and purchase at Wal-Mart, Target, CVS, gas stations, Walgreens, Greatest Purchase, Circuit City.

I’m sure there are thousands of individuals dying to pay far more for a pre-paid phone that they could have bought at the checkout counter at your nearby grocery store. Specially when these “entrepreneurs” removed the batteries from the phones.

I cannot wait till they come by my city.

I do not know if I am writing in the appropriate spot.in 2004, my mother had passed away from cancer.She was the “Foundation” to the household mainly due to the fact my brothers and I in no way got along as long I was in the loved ones.When my mother passed away,My brothers came out with all of these statements how I was the issue of the family members,I put mom by way of hell,however they did not mention 1 single fault they had carried out.My brother’s wife when she was attempting to collect info to fill out a final return last year.I had asked her exactly where the cash will be going.She went behind my back and stated to my brothers I was out searching for money and known as me all sorts of comments.I was infuriated and approached her why she felt she had to call me that.She apologized and stated my 2 oldest brothers did not trust me.I told her,I can not trust her or my two brothers simply because of them decieving me all my life.They in no way took the time to know me.I am willing to make peace with my family and hope to attempt for forgivness.
However,when I attempt to get in touch with them via email,I do not hear from them.I had invited all of them to my wedding but none has replied back.I really feel left out of place due to the fact I am the only girl and the youngest of 3 boys.I do not know why they resent their only sister for? We all make errors in our lives..How would I approach attempting to contact them?
also I forgot to mention..None does not call,write or stop in to see how I am performing.

If they do not want to be a component of your life, forget about them. Let them come to you, you have performed your portion. I have a sister with somewhat the very same difficulty, only I don’t view it as a dilemma. She’s got her life, I got mine. Don’t rid your self with guilt about it, take pleasure in your life.

I don’t know if volunteers can actually aid directly with this type of problem, considering that remedy is normally via hospitals or counseling centers and some type of medical or psychological training is required. Also, there may be liability concerns.

so does any sort of charitable donation count? What if I give to the campaign for equal rights for gays (Human Rights Campaign)? What if I give to Planned Parenthood? What about an atheist charity (Gates foundation)? Do THOSE donations count?

Question by He Who Defied Fate [Atheati]: How can I successfully advocate for atheism?
In 1 of my classes, we’re supposed to do some huge project with the theme of what they call “social entrepreneurship” which is a phrase that doesn’t even make sense to me. Essentially we have to pick a difficulty in the world that we’re passionate about, and do something about it.

The initial factor I thought of was how significantly I hate creationism, the Phelps family members, and the like.

I’m thinking I must do a fundraiser for the Freedom From Religion Foundation, but that just appears half-assed. Either the fundraiser itself has to be cool somehow, or I have to believe of some thing a lot more creative than just raising money.

Or I could abandon this entire atheism idea.
Michael: Donating to the FFRF would represent me giving my time, effort, and money to the kinds of actions that the FFRF does. You may have heard of a lawsuit or two that they’re responsible for.

For my own part, I do not really feel discrimination for getting an atheist, but of course it exists. Trying to increase acceptance of atheism is what I call “advocacy.”

Hillary, is already in the back pocket of the “special interest” groups and lobbyists. She is on the board of directors for Walmart. She voted FOR the war in Iraq. Her hands are just as dirty. I’m not saying Obama hasn’t any faults nevertheless it’s obvious that out of ALL the candidates, Obama is closer to the “middle” class than Hillary and McCain.
