Question by Tom: Have you ever heard the term “commit a random act of kindness?”?
I had auto trouble today and a good young fella stopped and showed me what to do to fix it. I learned one thing new and had my faith in humanity restored all at once. Just when I was about to believe there are not very many nice individuals left in this old globe.

what a blessing. Now, it is time for you to “pass the kindness forward”….next time you see someone who needs help, if you can get out of your way and help them, and that’s how you say thank you to the person who helped you today

Lady Diane started it and it Practice a Random Act of Kindness.
There are sites online that talk about those who do.
It is nothing more then what Jesus told us to do in the story of the Good Samaritan.
Then there is Pay It Forward which is similar.

I have gone out of my way to help others because it is the thing to do.
