Query by Daniel: Was Christianity the cause of the genocide of homosexuals in Germany?
A lot of times Hitler addressed the church and promised that Germany would implement its teachings: “The National Socialist State professes its allegiance to good Christianity. It will be its truthful endeavor to protect both the fantastic Christian Confessions in their rights, to secure them from interference with their doctrines (Lehren), and in their duties to constitute a harmony with the views and the exigencies of the State of nowadays.” –Adolf Hitler, on 26 June 1934, to Catholic bishops to assure them that he would take action against the new pagan propaganda “Providence has induced me to be Catholic, and I know for that reason how to manage this Church.” -Adolf Hitler, reportedly to have stated in Berlin in 1936 on the enmity of the Catholic Church to National Socialism

A unique division of the Gestapo was instituted to compile lists of gay individuals. In 1936, Heinrich Himmler, Chief of the SS, designed the “Reich Central Office for the Combating of Homosexuality and Abortion.” Which was supported by the Protestant and Catholic churchs of Germany.

Gay men who would or could not conform and feign a switch in sexual orientation had been sent to concentration camps beneath the “Extermination By way of Perform” campaign.

More than one million gay German men were targeted, of whom at least 100,000 were arrested and 50,000 had been serving prison terms as convicted gay males.

Paradoxically, and cruelly, gay men were offered the option of “voluntary castration” with vague promises of leniency. They would undergo botched operations that left them with oozing wounds. And they would nevertheless finish up in concentration camps.

Thousands were sent to concentration camps exactly where 60% died.
Conservative estimates give that 54,000 homosexuals had been killed.

if christianity was used to justify it,then still,no.it was the people who ordered it done.it was the people who relayed the order.it was the PEOPLE who carried out those orders who were the cause.lets get to a place where we understand what personal responsibility is.then exersize it,and shit like that wont happen.

everyone who claims to be christian is obviously not a chirstian and can be easily proven by their deeds. Jesus came and was considered “friends of sinners.” He did not come to condemn the world but to save it from the wrath to come.

A good biblical example of this is when James and John wanted to destroy an entire village because the people there rejected Jesus Christ. Did Jesus give Them the green light and allowed them to destroy the village?

    Luke 9:55
55 But He turned and rebuked them,[f] and said, “You do not know what manner of spirit you are of. 56 For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them.”[g] And they went to another village.

Jesus Is our example and anthing that is contrary to the example set forth is not from christianity. If Jesus were here today, He would be friends with gays not trying to destroy them as some so called christains are trying to do.

Certainly homosexuals were targeted by the Nazi’s. But Christianity had nothing to do with it and certainly not Catholic Christianity. The second largest group of people to go to the extermination camps were tjhe Catholics. Five million Catholics were murdered, three million in Poland alone. In Nazi occupied Europe 80% of all the priests were murdered.
    God bless!

First off Hitler was a Catholic, second he wasn’t after the gays specifically. He was after Gypsys, Gays, Jews and anyone who didn’t fit into his “Perfect Race” the race above all races.

Go watch the freaking history channel….
