Question by shaemonique2003: What does this mean at a bank “Our Directors, all volunteers”?
there is a president/ceo and so on…. but she was rude and wouldnt aid me, so i was going to email the chairman, when i read “Our Directors, all volunteers”, would he be in a position to go more than her head if i e-mail him? thanks

That indicates that the directors are unpaid by the bank, thus they volunteer their time. We don’t know if he would be able to go more than her head, but it seems to me that sending an e mail is worth your time.

    Seems you have no idea that the president/CEO of a company is a very senior person who has spent years with the company (or a similar one) and worked their way up.
    The president/ceo is actually higher than any director.
    If she was “rude” to you, perhaps your inquiry was inappropriate or trivial
