I’m ready, willing, and excited if it means we also get free healthcare and education, including post-secondary and graduate school, like other countries with mandatory volunteerism offer.

Isn’t the volunteerism mandatory for those who want help with their COLLEGE TUITION?

And if you knew the history of this country, you would NEVER mention slavery and volunteerism in the same sentence.

I my self have done more than my fair share of volunteerism, I think he needs to get off his high horse and realize that people that don’t do volunteer work for there probation is not going to start doing it now just because he says so. Plus… hello! Why the hell are we making children doing this? It is their parents jobs to do that… not the gov.! My parents encouraged me to do volunteer work and I love it, but if you make them… they are going to rebel! If we have enough trouble finding them in the sea of the so called school system, then we have no Business making them do more. What is he thinking?!?! Don’t get me wrong, I think that it is a great idea in theory, but it is not going to fly. We need to focus on other more important things.

‘mandatory volunteerism’ is an oxymoron. One word cancels out the other. When that happens, what is left is the pure facts: people will be forced to labor for Obamas’ ideas.

Go ahead, prove me wrong.

Still think it’s not mandatory? Wrong. It will be a MANDATORY part of every school curriculum.

Trust me I’m more than ready and willing to walk out of my house and actually have a life (volunteer even is fine). ALL Obama would have to do is give the Veterans Affairs a one time bailout funding of at least $ 17 billion to catch up in time after so many decades of underfunding.
